About Wild Garden Life

Wild Garden Life began during a difficult chapter in our family’s life. In March 2025, we found ourselves going back to basics.

Our garden became somewhere to slow down, spend time together and rediscover the simple things we’d almost forgotten.

A bird landing on the feeder could brighten the day. A bee disappearing into a flower became something worth stopping to watch. A butterfly passing through could bring everyone outside.

We were reminded that some of the best things in life really are free, and that sometimes, there’s an incredible world waiting just outside your back door.

We started filming those little moments, sharing them with family and friends and encouraging our children to spend more time outside discovering nature.

Then we started looking at our garden differently.

How could we attract more birds? What could we plant for bees and butterflies? Where could we create more shelter? What would happen if we simply left some areas a little wilder?

The more we changed, the more we noticed. And the more we noticed, the more we wanted to share.

Helping more people create gardens full of life.

Wild Garden Life exists to inspire people to notice, enjoy and support the wildlife around them. We believe gardens can be so much more than outdoor spaces. They can be feeding grounds for birds, valuable habitats for insects, stopping points for butterflies and places where families reconnect with the natural world. And you don’t need acres of countryside to make a difference. A bird feeder can help. A pot filled with pollinator-friendly flowers can help. A small water source can help. Leaving a corner a little wild can help.

Thousands of small changes across thousands of gardens can add up to something much bigger.
